The Pianosa Walnut Turntable is a Gold Note HIFI turntable engineered for detailed analogue playback with reduced vibration and precise speed control. Its handmade catenary-curved walnut lower plinth and 20 mm black lacquered MDF upper plinth reinforced with a 3 mm stainless steel plate increase rigidity for clearer tonal detail and improved imaging.
If you struggle with audible vibration, pitch instability or excess rumble from lesser decks this turntable addresses those problems through materials and engineering. A 12V high-torque synchronous motor with a rectified 70-shore NBR belt reduces motor-induced vibration while a low-tolerance pivot and a 5 mm chromed steel ball bearing enable smooth rotation and stable playback.
- Electronic 33 and 45 RPM selection with fine pitch adjustment +/-0.1%
- Measured wow and flutter 0.1% and rumble rated at -77 dB
- 23 mm dampened poly-vinyl platter with Split-Spindle clamping for stable disc contact
- Handmade catenary-curved walnut lower plinth and 20 mm black lacquered MDF upper plinth with 3 mm stainless steel reinforcement
- Includes Gold Note B-5.1 tonearm and transparent acrylic dust cover; weight 13.5 kg; dimensions 425 W x 170 H x 360 D mm
Unlike mass-produced decks that rely on simple MDF shells and generic bearings, the Pianosa borrows controls and components from higher-tier Gold Note models to prioritise low noise and musical detail. Compared to basic belt-drive units you should notice improved pitch stability and lower rumble when matching cartridges and phono stages.
Factory-tested and handmade in Italy, this turntable provides a documented specification set you can cite when configuring your analogue front end. Discover more specifications or order now if you want a measured craft-built HIFI source for your system.
